The Long Beach Press-Telegram has a decent article on Kathy Liebert, one of the few female professional poker players.
Kathy Liebert insists she hasn't endured any prejudicial treatment from her male counterparts over the years.
"Oh, when I first started in Colorado, a few guys said, 'Hey, what is she doing in the game?'' says Liebert. "But, really, I've never had any problems. What counts in poker is if you can play the game and if you are able to put up the entry fees."
